iPad 2. Beautiful piece.

Photobucket
After the much anticipated iPad 2 that I had been longing for the past 2 months,it has finally come to the shore of Malaysia yesterday.By any cost,I would not be given any tolerance to not own it either. So I woke up in the early morning and queued at 1 Utama's Mac City with all the patience and perseverance.

The crowd was overwhelming to the extent that the line could be made looping back to the front again. After a painstaking 3 hours,I have finally queued to the entrance of the store and finally managed to get my foot infront of the counter and walked away with the iPad 2.Some turn down part was the white and 3G units were sold off and I could only walk away with the black unit.

At the end of the day,I settled down with the black 16GB Wifi model with all the sweats and tears.

For some reason,it rendered me a long course to procure the iPad 2 even after I have purchased it.

Photobucket
Above is a proof of tweet which I tweeted live for the incident.

The staff there spent time sacrificing 8 pieces of screen protectors to get my iPad sticked with no screen bubbles. It was due to the entire batch of SGP screen protectors were all defected and they finally resorted to replace me with another cheaper (Mocran)variant which was 99 compared to my existing choice priced at 149.Then, I was refunded with the advance fund too.

If I were to count in every pieces they used there, they would have spent equally to what I paid for an iPad merely by their trial and errors.

The iPad 2 is my first product from Apple,so everything is new to me.At first sight, the iOS is really fast and beautiful when comes to UI and its scalability.

Photobucket
The on screen keyboard is really fast and tactical albeit it's presented in a virtual way.Typing can be a really excellent experience with its 1:1 key size,I'm adored with the fast spell check dictionary and correction by simply hitting the space key.One word,Beautiful!

Photobucket
The screen is incredibly sharp and has a great viewing angle.I'm so delighted with the IPS panel with all the vibrant color reproduction, soshi videos can be uplifted to another perspective of eyegasm lol.

Photobucket
I was amazed with all iTunes can do,it can retrieve the highest quality of album cover whenever I drag in songs into my device.Song and album info are pretty accurate as all the iPod users are appealed to.

Items included in package
Photobucket
By right,I should have put out this at the beginning of the post anyway let's get to the point. The iPad 2 comes with no redundant things, you only get the adapter and cable in the package.Other than the quick guide booklet, there's no manual or CD provided as Apple would assume everyone'a having a broadband at home lmao.

Photobucket
iBook is the most crucial part of iPad.It came prompting me at the first page when I got to register my account in the App Store.Well,I downloaded the Royal Booklet of the Prince William's Wedding and had some pleasure reading on it :)

Photobucket
The sound is really amazing as I plug in my pair of Timbre headphones listening to it.HD videos play smoothly on it.There's no additional equaliser you can customize on the iPad because Apple had tuned the sweetest point of sound for us.I'm really in love with the screen seriously.

Photobucket
As for the carrying case,I didn't opt to buy from the mac store as it would be really expensive to me.Got this PVC leather carrying case at LYP the next day for 55 and it fits my iPad well with some minimal drawbacks only. The only thing I find is the case is not tailored for back camera thus I couldn't take picture with the case on my device.

There's too much of details I have yet emphasized, but definitely have no regret getting the iPad.It's the best tablet I have ever used,no bluff. Will update you all with my experience from time to time.

Visual Dream Project

Photobucket

As a part of our dedication into this event,we have held a 2-day expedition to numerous places since yesterday. But I only got to join the Sunday's session due to my tight schedule. Thanks verx for driving us all the way to the uphill and the Korean Embassy. The others who joined were Alex Cheng and the 'Starcards Princes' lol.

Although we went through a lot to get this project completed, but it was all worthwhile as the pictures turned out to be nice.

We had a hard time picturing group photo without the help of tripod.I should have brought the tripod as well.So we ended up leveraging stairs and tables as alternative,we then settled down our lunch at a North restaurant before continuing our next stops.

The foods were served in a rather small quantity,we couldn't get to fill up our hunger by merely finishing them.I found the North are better in making Kimchi over the South in Malaysia. The Kimchi was rather sweet and less of the cabbage smell which I don't like.

The waitress were all luckily chosen(By appearance) by their government in an agreement to serve their country by working here. They all looked really good,I was dumfounded as any of them could be actresses if they were to born in the South. And you could hardly find beautiful waitresses in south restaurant especially in our country, not to mention they happened to come in great number.

Extinct stuff : Compaq Armada

Photobucket

Just some nostalgic stuff to share with you all.Got this from Ms.Jessica(Finance Department),I was asked to check the condition of it yesterday.Well,to my surprise the mobo is still functioning well but only the HDD was dead preventing it to boot.

The thickness is no joke, which I guess it's up to 2.5 inches. And for the first time,I got to listen to the real 'robotic' TRON beep that had been extincted from decades ago.The beep was really cute in someway that you pretty much will remember of TRON lol.

18

Hey guys, thanks for the overwhelming birthday wishes on FB.I'm deeply touched with the blessings from the friends and acquaintances whom I barely get to reply them 'thanks' in the comment box.

So 18 will be a big leap to freedom and a whole new world of challenges.Today I have finally decided to fill up the form for my SPM reevaluation.Well,to the true of me,I was not happy to the result of 3B in my GCE-O Level.

Thought it was easy for me at first(I thought I'd give in),but I've eventually gave in to my heart.Because I wasn't really convinced to get 3B for GCE-O Level.English is like one of my strong point, and I can't come to be convinced that I didn't do well in that paper.

Although the circumstance may not be really good to me,the chance may be slim. But I decided to give it a try at a dignified manner.Well,if I were to get 3B,I'd like it to be scrutinized for second round,if I were to be mistaken in getting 3B,I'd be really resentful to not get it.That's the saying of me.

Off for that thing, the birthday resolution of me will not be much different from the previous ones.Things may not change, but new elements came in as I grow maturer.

My wishes are
  • To procure scholarship that can allow me to study in KOREA
  • Pray that I could someday ditch Diabetes(Very Slim, hope is there)
  • To do well in my Cambridge A-level,I have nothing more to lose
  • To advance in writing and stuff that pertained to that
  • Nothing more, hope to inspire more about my DREAM in the future.
Today was a really busy day, went through a lot of paperwork and procedures for my SPM reevaluation and LCCI application.Fortunately, since that I'm working here,so things had become much easier to me going around and juggling between my work.

Ultimately,I have nothing more to ask this year,so basically I"ll continue to preoccupy myself with readings and things that will make me a better person.

To be honest,I have went through a lot in the work place and I have now become a much better person. When we look back, the snippets in the memory would serve as the yardstick of our doings in the entire year. For me,I didn't regret for going through the entire 17,not much of regret :)

Lastly,I'd like to once thank my family, the friends for the warm birthday blessings.I will be a better person and a better role model to the younger.

I'm craving for iPad2

Well,it broke the norm of me for consecutively coming out with 2 posts in a day.Well to be honest, this post is specially written to appease my previous emotional post.

Basically,I went to 1 Utama with the Mother for movie this afternoon and hung by at the Mac Store.Saw one lady with her children hugging the iPad like cuddling it to suffocation, then I pretended to be interested in the MacBook Pro infront of it.Then it spent like half an hour for the lady and her kids to leave the innocent tablet back to its place.I then thrillingly drifted to the iPad and started to play with it :D

Though I've never touched the iPad 2 beforehand, but the iPad is really awesome and appealed to be my liking. It would be definitely the perfect option to own a tablet made by Apple,I'd say.Partly,I'm writing this post to serve as an antidote for the friends who're craving for iPad2 as me.

I have went through the forum and read a lot of reviews and comments about iPad and iPad 2.There were sayings that you may get bored with the iPad after the first month or something. For that I would say that it's all depended on your own, although iPad may not be the complete alternative to computer, but it's an excellent ebook reader I'd say.

I came to find that it's really sharp and clear when comes to reading on it,it wouldn't be a problem for people who live on books.iPad will definitely appeal as the thing that you can count on as a life companion :)

Furthermore,I have come to find that the accessories are insanely expensive and overpriced.I have once seen a RM3XX chasis sold in the Mac Store. It would be totally absurd for me as do you not know that it would be enough to get you a full fledged Aluminium chasis already(If that were to apply to PC).

For my preference,I would only spare RM200 for both of the Screen Protector and carrying case.It would be totally out of my spending to own a RM3XX chasis lol.

The most part that concerns me is the date when the iPad2 comes to Malaysia.Let's hope it will be April,so that I can get it in the Birthday month <3

Place to vent

It spent me sometime to kick in with this post, even now I'm a little bit of lost.I know this should not be a blog post, because it might be terribly discouraging to all.

Well, the first month was really fun for me.I treated there as my second home as I work with all the enthusiasm to the extent that I volunteered to work on the new CHKL site,Library Blog and lots of stuffs that they wouldn't notice. When I mean they wouldn't notice, that saw all the efforts that I've contributed were not appreciated.

By any means, they would always seek me to do more, and assert that you should have done this and that but ironically they do not know anything technically about my importance. They just comprehend that it's very easy to you as you can get it done, and it should be of your field of responsibility.

Not to say,I had tightened my sleeping hours and personal life coming out with these.Lost my life with family,my last 2 months of holiday before kicking in to college life.

Partly having myself being vivaciously passionate in the office isn't enough to change the way others do their part.I had tried working on like no tomorrow, even tried bringing back all the work and responsibility to home as I worked.Consequently I have come to realize that the problem isn't at me,that's because someone is not willing to deliver, and they always seek to evade problems and put you to their work.

Afterall,I did not get anything appreciative in return, but a spit to my generosity.Working in Chong Hwa has given me more than I would imagine, they were practically things that I would never learn in the class.Somehow that let me justify between good and useless deeds.

Mind you, please do not get me wrong. The virtue of appreciative shall not be questioned,we shall not stop advocating good will but in a way that we should justify that our help is not wasted nor exploited.

At the very first place, the very intent of me in bringing all these to ChongHwa was driven by the sense of gratitude. But now,it all seems like I was wrong,in the end of the day the efforts will be of someone's merit who did not contribute at all but by leveraging your effort. That deeply pissed me and stopped me from doing that.

So,I'm done here.
